Tracy, I just had my second GentleBirth baby on Saturday!

GentleBirth is almost too good.

I laboured at home all night sleeping through some of it, all the while listening to the GentleBirth app. By the time I actually felt I needed to go to the Rotunda we made it with only moments to spare and baby was born in the assessment room about 5 minutes after arrival. My husband was still waiting outside for permission (Covid restrictions). We didn’t make it to the delivery suite! Even though it was all moving so fast, I was still calm enough to switch to the imagery for pushing track, which considering I don’t think I even had time to take my shoes off is no small achievement!

(PS - all the staff I chatted with are aware and very supportive and impressed by GB. My last baby was a very similar story except I made it to the delivery room just before it was time to push).
