Where to begin? This is the biggest feature update in the last year and it’s going to make so many of our GB parents very happy (and more coming soon!). If you haven’t updated to the latest version go do that now - I’ll wait.
Labor Content
At 37 weeks you’ll see an option show up at the top of your homescreen that says ‘Today/Labor’. So when you are in labor you’ll simply toggle on to ‘labor’ and you’ll be taken to all of our labor content including your favorites and the labor playlist. You’ll also hear a short audio with some tips for early labor.
As you’re probably already aware after you’ve settled in with your newborn you’ll move into the 4th Trimester content - there’s two journeys’ (4th Trimester Breastfeeding and 4th Trimester Bottlefeeding). Just like your pregnancy daily training you’re going to see content relevant to your postpartum stage - physical recovery, infant feeding and emotional wellness are prioritized.
What Happens After the 4th Trimester Journey?
You have the option to repeat the journey or move to Body Positive. BodyPositive is our GentleBirth 12 week approach to feeling more comfortable in your body after your baby arrives. Several years ago when the program was available in CDs (that long ago yes!) it was mostly hypnosis based but mindfulness is a wonderful tool for cravings, kicking sugar and noticing self judgment. When your Body Positive journey ends you can of course repeat it or focus on areas that are important to you or move on to the Wellness journey - for inspiration and positivity in your day to day life.
