I don’t have a medical background - can I still train as a GentleBirth Educator?

Yes! Many of our educators don’t have a medical background - they’ve experienced the power of GentleBirth themselves and decided to train as GentleBirth Instructors to share their love of positive birth in their communities.

Are there any Additional Fees?

No additional fees.

How long do I have to complete the training and how long does it usually take?

Learners have one year to complete full certification and most students finish in 8-10 weeks.

Can I set my own class fees?

Yes.
Are there any geographical restrictions?

No.

Will GentleBirth help me promote my classes?

Are you allowed to say GentleBirth or blended class?

You are allowed to add additional topics to the curriculum but not subtract from our curriculum. The additional material should clearly be identified to the student to be additional content your created and is not part of GentleBirth. You are also allowed to create any additional resources to help you teach the subjects covered in the in this PDF. You also have to be an active GentleBirth instructor and your certification to the class attendees.

How do I provide access to my workshop attendees to Nancy Mohrbacher's online breastfeeding class?
